The Paço Guest House is located at Quinta do Paço, Fontão place in the “belly” of the Gadanha valley, (a tributary river of the Minho River), which crosses the parish of Pias (1 km from the centre), which it is eight kilometers from the center of Vila de Monção, one of the villages that make up Alto Minho, in the north of Portugal.
Its known history dates back to the 17th century, having been owned by a family of nobles: the Marines, who settled there, hence the coat of arms that is at the entrance of the property, attesting to its status and presence, as well as existing documentation at Torre do Tombo, in Lisbon.
Until reaching the hands of the current owners, a long path was covered, passing from generation to generation, transforming itself into what it is today, a pleasant space, holder of one of the most breathtaking and privileged views of the entire area, where the nature still resists the temptations of modernity.
This isolated space thus appears, in order to share this unique and magnificent environment with the world, having therefore been the target of a renovation in 2020, in order to provide moments for families or groups of friends who seek it. unique and unforgettable.
